Therma-Tru® Doors in the Treasure Valley
Therma-Tru® entry door systems, installed right
Therma-Tru® is one of the best-known names in fiberglass and steel entry door systems, and we install their lines to the manufacturer's published specifications across the Treasure Valley. To be clear and honest about it: we install Therma-Tru® doors as a capability — we are not claiming any special dealer designation or certification tier. What we offer is correct, spec-compliant installation of the product.
The Therma-Tru® range covers fiberglass and steel entry doors with a wide selection of door styles, glass options, sidelights, and transoms, built around insulated cores for energy performance. Whether you want a smooth paintable fiberglass slab, a wood-grain stained look, or a value-oriented steel system, the Therma-Tru® lineup has a configuration for it, and we detail the complete system — door, frame, sill, and glass — as a unit.
An entry door system performs only as well as its installation. We set the unit plumb and square, flash and seal the sill and jambs, fit the weatherstripping and threshold, and set the locking hardware so the door seals tight and latches solidly through Idaho's freeze-thaw and summer heat. These are the same details that keep the manufacturer warranty intact.
If you've chosen Therma-Tru® or want to compare it against other lines, we'll install it correctly and give you straight guidance on how it stacks up against ProVia®, Masonite®, and the other doors we hang — no inflated claims, just an install done right.

Our process
How we handle therma-tru® doors
- 01
Measure & confirm system
We measure the opening and confirm the Therma-Tru® line, slab, glass, sidelight, and hardware configuration before quoting.
- 02
Selection
We lay out the fiberglass and steel options, glass, and finishes within the Therma-Tru® range so you see the complete system before ordering.
- 03
Removal & opening prep
The old door and frame come out and we inspect and repair the rough opening so the new system sits on sound, square framing.
- 04
Set & flash to spec
The unit is set plumb and square, shimmed, and the sill and jambs are flashed and sealed per the manufacturer's published instructions.
- 05
Hardware & weather seal
We install and adjust the locking hardware, threshold, and weatherstripping for a solid latch and a tight perimeter seal.
- 06
Finish & walkthrough
We finish as specified, clean up, and walk the operation, lock, and seal with you.
In the Treasure Valley
Built for local homes & weather
Therma-Tru® insulated fiberglass and steel cores suit Treasure Valley's temperature swing, holding heat in a January cold snap and out during a July afternoon — provided the perimeter is sealed correctly, which is where our install detailing focuses.
On HOA-governed entries in Meridian, Eagle, and Star, the breadth of Therma-Tru® styles and finishes usually makes architectural-review approval straightforward, and we'll help with the color or style submittal.
Therma-Tru® Doors FAQs
Are you a Therma-Tru® dealer or certified installer?
We install Therma-Tru® doors as a capability and follow the manufacturer's published installation specifications. We don't claim a special dealer designation or certification tier — what we offer is correct, spec-compliant installation of the product, and we'll always be straight about that.
What does Therma-Tru® offer?
Fiberglass and steel entry door systems with a wide range of styles, glass, sidelights, and transoms built around insulated cores. The fiberglass lines include smooth paintable and wood-grain stainable looks. We'll show the configurations that fit your entry.
Why does spec installation matter?
Because the door's energy and weather performance — and its warranty — depend on correct flashing, sealing, shimming, and hardware setup. We follow the published instructions so the system seals tight, operates right, and keeps the manufacturer warranty intact.
How does Therma-Tru® compare to other doors?
It's a well-regarded fiberglass and steel line; ProVia® and Masonite® and others have their own strengths in finish, glass, and construction. The real difference for you is the specific configuration, glass, and warranty rather than a fundamentally different door. We'll compare them fairly.
What drives the cost?
The line and slab material, glass and sidelights, hardware, and any opening repair at removal. A fiberglass system with decorative glass and sidelights costs more than a basic steel slab. We quote after measuring the opening.
